On the 25th of June 2009 like a rude shock the
world awakens to the death of Michael Joseph Jackson. While some are gradually coming to terms with this sad new, fans like us are still trying to make sense of it all. Of cause death is an inevitable end, but still no one wants to die and nobody expected Michael Jackson to die at the age of 50. The news of his death took the world by storm, reaching far canners of the earth. Michael Jackson’s death once again reminds us that we are mortals and should celebrate each day, treat people right and leave petty stuff alone. Michael Jackson’s music has brought joy, hope, courage, healing, happiness and even money to so many people. As a kid my friends and I used to dance to the music of Michael Jackson and get paid for it. Michael Jackson broke the color barrier by being the first artist of color whose video was played on MTV. He opened so many closed doors and kept bringing happiness to the world through his music, even when he was sometimes sick. He pushed himself to the limits to make sure many could experience the healing and love his music brings. I was fortunate enough to see his real close at the DANGEROUS and HISTORY concerts and it was pure magic. I sincerely hope Michael Jackson would be remembered for his love and the goodness he gave the world and not how he looked or some of the bad press that followed him. Please Judge Michael Jackson Kindly.
